Port Elizabeth to Experience Local Wine Show Like No Other!
The First I Love PE Wine Show

The I Love PE Wine Show is set to
be the first wine experience in Port Elizabeth, focused on the class, style and
elegance that is renowned within the South African wine industry. For many
years, exclusive wine events were held mainly in the winelands of the Western
Cape but this is set to change.
Local entrepreneurs, Robyn Martin
of For the Love of Wine and Eugene Joubert of Winezani, will launch the first I
Love PE Wine Show in the Summer of 2016.
Their aim; to introduce both industry and market to a quality wine show in
the Eastern Cape.
“For many years Port Elizabeth
and our surrounding areas have been considered a market focused on quantity,
not quality. Since opening the wine bar,
For the Love of Wine in 2011, we have seen a great ‘wine enthusiast’ market
evolve and our clients are hungry for the best SA wines have to offer. For that reason, Eugene and I have decided to
create this show in a beautiful venue, with quality wine estates showcasing
their products and PE’s best cliental attending to sample and ideally purchase
their favourites.” says Robyn.
In true cohesion of this stylish
event, Slipperfields Country Estate proves to be the perfect setting for the
show’s maiden vintage. Crystal chandeliers,
rolling meadows and the hills of Lady Slipper in the distance, make for an idyllic
venue to host the first show.
